The Tacoma Series is a true double-conversion online UPS with pure sine wave output delivering reliable power protection for mission-critical equipment using DSP control for optimal performance. The high 0.9 power factor allows for higher load capacity while a wide input voltage range improves the reliability of the UPS. A 1% output voltage regulation delivers more precise power to connected equipment.

Online Double-Conversion Topology

The mains supply is fed directly into the UPS and charges batteries within the UPS. The battery power is then converted back to mains power to feed the protected equipment. Due to these two conversions, this UPS type is often known as a Double-Conversion UPS.
