A Houston woman who was shot by FBI brokers after allegedly threatening them with a machete is going through federal costs, the U.S. Legal professional’s Workplace within the Southern District of Texas introduced on Friday.
Jennifer Jesselle Perez-Rodriguez, 28, was taken into custody and charged with assaulting a legislation enforcement officer in reference to the incident on April 17.
Brokers have been driving down Anderson Street in unmarked vehicles when Perez-Rodriguez allegedly walked into the roadway holding a machete, based on a legal grievance. The lady then started swinging the machete and moved in the direction of two of the automobiles.

The brokers activated a siren on one of many vehicles as Perez-Rodriguez began to run in the direction of them, the grievance alleges. One agent opened a automotive door and instructed her to drop the machete, which she refused to do.
